Lexington's Best Massage

You arrive in Lexington with the vague hope that someone might finally locate the knot behind your shoulder blade, the one that has taken up permanent residence after too many laps around Lake Murray. The massage options here span from the corporate efficiency of Massage Envy, where Allie melts your cynicism like a cheap candle, to the sorcerous Himalayan salt stones of Kelly at Palm Massage and Spa, and that’s before you even consider floating in a tank of salt water at Enhance Image.

One therapist will even talk a hurricane into a nap, which is a useful skill. Fifty massages deep, you’ve learned to keep a spreadsheet.

So does Ashley at The Supine Studio. Consider this your map to the best hands in town.

Ninety minutes of deep sleep
Shoulder tension expertly dissolved
Refreshed relaxation after every visit
Lexington’s finest massage therapist

Kelly at Palm Massage and Spa wields Himalayan salt stones like a benevolent sorceress, and you are her willing subject. Ninety minutes of deep sleep follows, though you never quite remember the moment you drifted off, only that your shoulder tension dissolved as if it had never existed. The stones are warm, smooth, and absurdly calming, like holding a piece of the earth that has decided to be kind to you. You leave refreshed, a state you had forgotten was possible. Lexington's finest massage therapist, you conclude, though you have not tried all of them, and you suspect Kelly would appreciate the hyperbole anyway.

Massage Envy

Highlights
Gift cards with bonus
Skilled therapist Allie
Relaxing, sleep-inducing sessions
Convenient rescheduling options

Massage Envy is the corporate chain you expect to be soulless, but then you meet Allie, and your cynicism melts like a cheap candle. Her sessions are relaxing and sleep-inducing, the kind that make you wonder if you've been transported to a cloud that happens to have a time limit. The gift cards with bonus are a clever trap, because you will buy one for a friend and then immediately book another for yourself. Rescheduling is convenient, which matters when your life is a series of small fires. You do not envy the name, but you do envy the therapist. She knows things.
